I have some friends who are flying out that Friday and spending the weekend in New Orleans and going to the Cards game. Anyone also planning on going to New Orleans?

Me and my friends are going. Purchased my plane ticket yesterday. Can't wait.

With Bourbon street nearby who cares? One thing we Cardinal fans are good at is handling defeat. We've got a ton of experience.

The classic example is Derm who says to those who claim we're going to drop 1000's of fans by losing: "Hey more room to tailgate!"

Driving down Friday from St. Louis. Ready for Cardinal football, win or lose, and some good cajun food.

Do you have a favorite spot to go over there before the game?

Will also be driving down from St Louis, but probably leaving Saturday morning so we likely won't see each other on I-55.

There was a place near the Royal Sonesta Hotel.
Awesome hotel by the way. They had good food and drink and videos running of the girls getting beads at Mardi Gras!!! But this was before Katrina.

We used to go to a place called the Nawlins Cookery and get blackened Prime Rib. Fantastic cuisine. Maybe the same place. Its been a long time since we were there.

Someone remind me why we had children again. :( :D

Flying in on Friday morning we're staying at the Omni hotel in the French Quarter. Satuday night on Bourbon Street wear your card's gear and get noticed. Oh and by the way Shane thought we would get our butts handed to us last year in New England, and thats right... I was there as well. We gonna get some Saints for dinner.

We will be there (wife and I)! Heading in Thursday afternoon - staying in the French Quarter. Have tickets in Section 101 Row 3.

Post where everyone is going to be meeting up and sitting - we might need safety in numbers!

Go Cards!

I've never been to NO before, so I have no clue. I have a buddy that lives there, so I'm not having to pay for a hotel room. Which is nice. I'm kinda just gonna let him decide where we go. I wish I could stay longer, but its already hard to take off work.
