Brooks has shown he can light it up, and he has shown he can not show up at all against some teams, his play against Houston was pitiful. I still like the lil man, but throwing the ball at the ref didn't really do it for me. Brooks>Dragic, I am still fine and dandy typing that one.

We've seen a lot in Brooks already, we know the ankle is jacked up. When he started and Gentry said to go for it, he did pretty good. I think he likes to start and he is pretty good when he is healthy. Can he kick back and still produce if Nash comes back next year with this new look Suns? (I sure hope so)

Is a healthy Brooks going to be ok with that?

I really hope so, our next game is beat LA. Brooks has lit them fools up in the past, Dragic and Sasha are long one. Bench boys will play a big part in this game...I hope Brooks is big enough for it. I agree with what I read in here, he needs to look to score first and then dish if it aint there.

I am still behind Brooks, really wish he was on good legs right now. Looks like he has learned to use his quickness, and it seems like he is really frustrated with out it.

ZD is looking good too. I stiil think Brooks is the better PG, but ZD is healthy and is the better defender so I don't know.

Maybe it's too much political correctness, but using the word "midget" is like calling someone a "******".

Sorry, my bad.
What do you think of Brooks? I am still on the fence, as far as the Suns go he can do a lot here if he plays smart.

I like Brooks if he can get his act together. We all know he can play better, and man, he is fast out there. I think he tries too hard to be more like Nash, like pretty much every backup PG we've ever had with Nash on the team. Dragic would have been more successful if he just played his game and didn't try to emulate Nash all the time. The same can be said of Brooks.

I agree, we sure could use that scoring burst while Nash is chillin. Between ZD and Brooks... that choice against Pill Jackson and the Lackers.... I am getting carried away with the dots....play off hopes...
... choose wisely Gentry...

I agree, he is trying to be who he is not. D'Antoni tried to make a Nash clone out of Felton and they struggled until he let him be himself. Nash is in a class by itself.
Brooks needs to play to his strength. His offense is going to return, it's his defense that worries me more.

I like Brooks. He's a proven player. Unlike Dragic, he started for one whole season and put up good stats.

We need that Aaron Brooks back. We need him to be a score first type PG because that's what he is. As he gets more experience, he will become a better passer.

But I also like Dowdell. He's a pass first type PG that is a good defender. He reminds me of a lesser Rondo.

If I'm Gentry then I play Brooks over Dowdell because we have to know if he's capable of takin over for Nash in the long run. Dowdell can always be a reliable backup for us.
