As if it's not bad enough that his team blows a 16 point lead on sheer exhaustion and going one on one too often. But then with a 6 point game and a minute to go he argues a very obvious moving screen on taj gibson, walks out on thecourt, and throws his play sheet on the floor and gets a T effectively ending the game. Even his own bench players were throwing their hands up like what the hell?

I of course hate Floyd but I always cheer for the Pac 10 and was actually cheering for SC but god it does sort of reinforce my opinion of Floyd to watch him meltdown like that on national tv.

Feel bad for the kids but you could see at the half Gibson was gassed.

I couldn't have said it better myself...I don't like SC at all, but I'm a Pac fan. Floyd screwed that game up.

Yeah I realize that SC was not getting any calls, I mean UNC went the first 8 minutes of the half without a foul. Hansbrough jumps into Gibson and they call it on Taj, but then idiot Floyd leaves him in with 3 and he immediately gets his 4th and the run starts. Horrible game coaching.

I also loved the play where the USC shot is literally sitting on the rim and Hansbrough takes it off with no basket interference call?

But the call that Floyd got the T on was an obvious foul, and he just completely imploded. Complete lack of self control, you could see him cursing out all 3 refs after the T when they showed him on the sideline it too a LOT of restraint for them not to throw him out.

I would have done it too. That was a bad call that late in a critical game. They are down 6, would have to foul anyway which is 2 shots. Obviously the game isnt over, but its pretty damn close.

I can't blame Floyd. CBS/NCAA was making damn sure that the East Coast was represented in the Elite 8. USC and VANDY got hosed.

I do agree on the calls but at that point in the game arguing a call where Gibson clearly moved was just the last straw.

Floyd blew the game by not using his bench or timeouts, he had 4 To's left when the game ended, and he uses his backup bigs Cromwell and Ndiaye for a total of 4 minutes. Last year they beat UNC by 15, and those 2 played C the whole game.

Look at Howland when his bigs were in trouble against Pitt he goes to keefe and wright and both kids step up. it was so obvious USC was gassed, even packer was saying it over and over.

You can't blame Floyd for getting that technical. His frustration with the refs was at a boiling point before that call.

I think the biggest idiot is Billy Packer. After watching the replay of the game-winning basket in the Georgetown game, he still believed that the Hoya player did not travel. Hopefully after this year's tournament is over, CBS will tell Billy his run with them is over.
