Here is an item from the Q Richardson press conference by D'Antoni:

The only thing we don’t have is somebody with a little bulk who does not get killed on the big guys. I think Jake Voskuhl, (Maciej) Lampe, (Jackson) Vroman and a veteran big guy who we’ll sign, will be able to do that.

Traylor is certainly a guy "with a little bulk".

Supposedly, Cleveland is the favorite to land Traylor.

I can't remember any free agents the Cavs signed, so my guess is they can offer Traylor more money than the Suns, if they want to.

Traylor

Maybe on missing something here but if the Suns want an inside presence to do the dirty work why would they go after a 6' 8" inside player. I realize the guy has got alot of bulk (285 lbs.) but in the end I just don't see them going after him. I see them going after JP or Rebraca or someone else that goes at least 6' 11".

Traylor is another Jahidi, only cheaper. Rebraca and JP are taller but maybe not as strong, plus they have a history of injuries. I'm not sure how to measure which is more valuable - strength or heigth.
