There's a reason why duck, duck, goose - a traditional children's game - never translates well into adulthood and New York Islanders forward Brock Nelson found out the hard way Wednesday. After teammate Josh Bailey sniped an absolute laser to tie the game at 2-2, Nelson patted Carolina Hurricanes goalie Curtis McElhinney on the head in an act of mock consolation. Predictably, the Hurricanes didn't enjoy any of it and Dougie Hamilton got in the way of Nelson's celebratory warpath before the refs broke up a brief skirmish.
