So please, everyone come forward and detail what life experience, or even any single incident, that may have contributed to us being plagued with the Cardinals as our team. Think hard and be honest. We all have done something evil, morbid, terribly wrong, or disgusting at sometime in our life that contributes to keeping the Cardinals attached to us. Please, before I pass away, let's finally get it all out in the open so that we can remove this curse.

I'll even start it off: When I was a young boy I once shot an innocent little song bird with a BB gun. When I went to see it's lifeless body on the ground, I realized I was responsible for taking a precious life and felt a strong sense of shame and guilt. Obviously the killing of that little bird haunts me to this day in the form of the Cardinals.

Ditto. I was like 10 years old and I was at the lake. I started skipping stones into the water. I had a great skipper, but it kept going. And going. And going. Until it hit a duck in the neck. I think it broke the poor duck's neck. I was mortified and I still think about that duck and what might have been.
