Be a bottom 2 team in the NBA for more than 3 straight years. Finding new ways to trip over your own feet...... New and even more bland ways to destroy all hope for improvement....... Crushing the dreams of fans worldwide...... To actually deserve all of the hate you have earned through the years.

I want to congratulate Sarver, all of his front office personnel, and the numerous coaching staffs who were appointed to run this ship. It's like we are all living in a James Dolan, Marge Schott, Donald Sterling fever dream that won't be ending anytime soon.

This truly has been a roller coaster for sure, but we always end up right where Sarver wants us to be. Positive cash flow, strong EBITDA, and a debt service ratio well above 1.2.

The greatest Banker in the history of the NBA........

I salute you.

These types of posts are already getting old. No one on this board knows how these moves have effected this team in the win/loss column.

What I will say is that on paper they appear to be more balanced and they also have enough cap space and ways to create more and they can still make a run at a PG.

I see no reason to be doom and gloom about the current situation of this franchise. If this is the final product and they don't make anything positive happen in free agency than I think your stance has some merit.

You don't get it. None of what you say matters because the snake still has its head.

Give it a rest man. Sarver isn't going anywhere and there is nothing that shows any sort of proof that he is actively trying to keep this team at the bottom of the league.

I have just accepted the reality that as long as Sarver owns the franchise we will never be competent.

Talented people don't want to work for the guy, we will always have a subpar front office and support staff and the players won't be fully invested.

I don't know about this.....There are reasons to be concerned about the current situation.

We still don't know what is going to happen with oubre and a possible FA.

4 straight bottom two in the NBA seasons. A 5th is staring us straight in the face and the lottery just became a big game of Russian roulette.

It's been a horrible stretch, no need to change the facts to make it even worse. We were tied for 2nd this season, worst record the season before, 2nd worst the season prior to that and 4th worst 4 seasons ago. That stands on it's own, no exaggeration is needed.

SMH..... 3 straight then with a 4th staring us in the face. Not exaggeration..... Just a mistake. We were bottom 2 in the West and #4 in the league.

Now..... to advance the conversation........

Why would anyone feel anything but absolute dread for the foreseeable future is beyond me.

There is a pretty big difference between being concerned and being convinced that the team is doomed. The latter seems to be the mind set that some have right now.

What the Suns did was beyond pathetic, they are a joke and I am not spending a dime to make a game or on NBA league pass to turn all your assets into trash backups it's a joke they came out worse. 6 32 Milwaukee Pick and Warren, cleared 11 in cap, to tak Saric 3.5 and Baynes 5.5 and turn the 6 32 and Milwaukee pick into 2 guys that could be had at 32 hahahhahahaa

I am done with this trash ass team, Go Raptors!

Well, it's not like this horrible stretch occurred without a purpose. Reportedly, Ryan finally talked Sarver into a complete rebuild plan that centered around full on tanking, the consequences of such a move insured we'd be horrible for a few years. The execution of that plan has been questionable but all those fans that complained about us being a 50 and fade team in the past should realize this was an effort to become a true championship contender.

After some huge failures, we fired our GM (and other front office personnel) and started a new plan. This one seems focused on moving us out of laughing stock territory as quickly as possible in an apparent effort to appease all the fans that apparently forgot why we were tanking in the first place. I think this new plan will work, we'll be seriously improved this year and even more so in the next couple of years which should allow us to go back to losing in the first round of the playoffs.

Effort to build a true championship contender around what? Two moderate stars, two role players and a bunch of scrubs?

Let me guess, you just read every 3rd word in my post and assumed you were close enough?

My point is that the plan has been the same all along. Sell the fans on false hope so Sarver can keep pocketing our money.

That hasn't been the plan and the many mistakes notwithstanding, Sarver is not a complete idiot like you seem to think. He still has a banker mentality. Trying to be profitable every year while not putting a watchable product on the floor cannot be sustained. He's trying to make this team better because the surplus of funds brought about by the surprising TV contract won't last forever. I'm concerned that he and Jones are sacrificing our chance for a strong future in an attempt to get just good enough to bring the fans back and stifle the negative publicity.

It can be sustained if the fans are suckered enough. How do you think Donald Trump has survived all these years?

What you keep missing is that the roster is worse BOTH now AND for the future.

Not a chance. But I'll leave the political talk for the P&R board.
