Graves called. He is taking a guard so he can play left tackle.

Seriously though, I know a majority of the board will say that we need a SILB in Round 1 but I feel an OT like Gabe Carimi from Wisconsin should be the guy. Brown and Keith are going to be a below average tandem and we are in serious need of an upgrade. If not OT then we need another stud CB, depending on when we pick and looking at mocks they have us all over the place from Top 10 to late 20's. If we have a shot at Prince Amukamara, Glendale Apollo product, then we need to tab him and shift Toler to the nickel back.

The "Way Too Early" prediction:

Top 5
-Jake Locker
-Andrew Luck

Mid-1st big armed ******* that always busts but teams can't stop drafting that type
-Ryan Mallet

Two borderline guys are Terrell Pryor and Christian Ponder.

Unless he shows some massive improvement this year, Terelle Pryor's accuracy makes Derek Anderson look like Peyton Manning's/Troy Aikman's love child.

I like Gabe Camrimi as well even though he's an OT. But he still may be a more accurate passer than Pryor .

Don't be surprised if the future qb starter is already on the Cards team as I think they like both Hall and Skeleton.

Don't forget about Blaine Gabbert. If he comes out he could easily be a top 15 pick.

IMO, Locker is the 3rd best pro prospect in the Pac-10. I think he's been overrated because of his athleticism which is pretty far down the list of makes a great NFL QB.

Pryor should have played basketball or moved to WR, he's not a QB. He's not even close to where vince Young was in college and it took Vince a few years to become a decent NFL passer.

Locker was very inaccurate before last season, remains to be seen on him but terrific athlete. I love Luck, little biased Stanford so I see him a lot but he's got it all, arm, head, and for his size he moves a lot better than you think. He's got to improve his accuracy but then he played on a team with very average WR talent, Owusu might be the best KO return guy in the country, but he's a very raw WR, very fast, no idea how to run routes. Whalen was the prototype possession receiver, no speed great hands, Dray was there. They had 3 guys on the roster catch more than 20 balls all season with one of the best QB's in the country. They ran the ball a lot but they just didn't have much WR talent, put Luck at USC last season they go unbeaten with their WR's.

Mallett has a cannon arm, agree he's hit or miss though.

I don't think Luck will be in the draft he's a redshirt soph so he's eligible but will probably stick around one more year on the farm.

Christian Ponder from Florida State is on a lot of people's watch lists.

The way-too-early Huddle Report Value board has Jake Locker (Washington), Ryan Mallett (Arkansas), and Andrew Luck (Stanford) 1-2-3. They have Christian Ponder at 51. Colin Kaepernick (Nevada) at 61. Pat Devlin (Delaware) at 62. Jerrod Johnson of Texas A&M is 68, and Houston's Case Keenum is 70.

Andy Dalton of Texas Christian rounds out their list at 100.

I'm not really liking next years draft class at the moment. There really isn't an elite prospect at QB but I'm interested in seeing how Jake Locker continues to develop.

Gabbert had a weaker season than in 2009 and look how much he's moved up.

With rookie slotted money he might be ok. Without, too big a risk.

Not knowing for certain whether there will be a slotted system has to make this year's draft really difficult for all the teams.
