It's Official! Cards eliminated from playoffs!

With the Giants, Eagles and Falcons all at 7-6 with only 3 games left, the Cards are mathematically eliminated. The fact that the Eagles play both the Giants and the Falcons means that at least one of those teams will finish 1 win ahead of the Cards in the wild card race. We would need the Giants and the Falcons both to lose out in order for there to be a tie at 7-9 if the Cards were to win out. We would lose out to the Giants based on the conference tiebreaker and we would lose out to the Falcons on the head to head tiebreaker.


Sorry to poop on the parade. The Cards are finally playing solid football and that takes away some of the sting of not making the playoffs this year. If they can build on the last few weeks, then this team is finally going to be a force in the NFL.

Let's see if we can continue to play spoiler the rest of the season and make some waves.
