If it is a brutal schedule to start, is the first month going to set the tone?

Unless we're so uncompetitive that whom we are playing doesn't matter?

I'll be rooting for the best each game. It is easier to win one than a month's worth.

I believe it does set the tone. If they can exit that stretch say .500 or better I think it may bode well. Other side of coin is they get throttled for a month plus and all that is left is a long summer
