I've been reading and listening since camp opened about how the team is not doing this or that. When in the heck is the Great Whis going to start calling it like it is. His buddy, Russ'es line sucks , the running backs are a joke, the defense really looked good going against our offense but that's it.

The time has come for the front office to start questioning the Whis and his team of coaches. He ******* about the teams performance and then goes to the movies. It's time to tell it like it is. Rogers and Manning played for over a half last night. I would think their coaching staffs know what they can do but we don't know what we can do????? C'mon Whis, look in the mirror.

You will get flamed for this, obviously. I think Whiz is a great coach, however, I think there is some merit to what you say. Whiz seems to be a bit dictatorial in some aspect. Not giving Leinart a shot and not hiring an offensive coordinator. I also question his ability, or willingness, to bring in established big-time coordinators.

Flame away.

Dude, it's preseason, and we have a coach who posted 8-8, 9-7, 10-6 records with the Cardinals, yes the Cardinals, the past 3 years, along with 5 playoff games and a Superbowl appearance.

I think the coaching staff gets more slack than one preseason. You probably would've fired Jeff Fisher last year when his team was struggling too right?

Relax and enjoy the drama. This is entertainment after all right? :D

Our Running backs are not a joke. Beanie Wells is one of the best talents in the NFL and Hightower is a solid 3rd down, short yardage and blitz busting back.

But I agree with you in questioning our HOF line coach.

I think there are those that have lost their minds, and those that question the decisions being made. I don't think there is anything wrong with questioning.

It's the difference in:
"Whiz sucks and should be fired!". "Our running backs suck!"

and...

"I question wether Whiz is handling this situation the right way."

It's obvious that an NFL coach is more suited to make those decisions than we are. However, we will all yell and want to climb through the TV and punch the coach in the nuts if he runs the ball on 3rd and 8. It's part of what makes football the best game in the world.

Just because you question one decision doesn't mean you aren't pleased with the overall body of work.

I hear what you are saying. I haven't really had the urge to punch Whis in the nuts but I get your point on that as well.

Things is you listed 3 things that Whis has a weakness with. Just to be clear Superman only had cryptonite and he's no Whis. ;)

Thanks to NFL Sunday ticket I've seen most of the RBs in the NFL and imho there aren't 5 guys with more natural talent than BW.

google it, science actually proved the chicken came first a few months ago.

So before that the egg came first?

We should ask 40 year about this. He's so old his ears still hurt from the Big Bang.

Whiz came along crapped on a rock and the sun hatched it. thats where the Phoenix came from.

this team is horrible at fundementals both offensively and defensively. Run blocking or tackling pick your poison. that is what i've seen with my old fat eyes.

I honestly feel Whiz needs this for him to evaluate and He don't care who it crushes,
none the less I have wanted to kick him in the nuts for handing the gun to ESPN on MNF to murder Matty.

I don't like him supporting DD's unsportsmanlike conduct either, real flags and real yards are coming soon to a neighborhood near you! The guys may have been having fun at Matt's expense on the interview.

What the F is going on around here??????

Well to sum it up....

The coach had a large amount of credit built up with the fans. He had his flaws, but they were easy to gloss over in light of constant winning.

He has taken that credit and thrown it all in. The Cardinals have a good season and the flaws vanish in light of his glory. If we have a 6 or 7 win season, then those little things get magnified. Hopefully this only makes his legend grow.

I don't care who starts as long as we win.

Thats all that matters. However many great coaches have taken steps back and had bad seasons. It happens.

I agree Shane, but I for one am going to let the season unfold until I throw Whis under the bus. The one thing he has been able to do is find ways to motivated his players to respond to what he wants. I have not been happy with what I have seen so far this preseason but that is all it is, preseason. Whis get a bye from me.

I don't know, though...I'm starting to wonder about all the problems that we've managed to play through, that had we taken care of them might have made us great instead of good. Are we sticking with Grimm just to be loyal? Our OL play has been and definitely still is sub-par. We still haven't learned to tackle. Our defense still lays off when it gets a lead. I could go on, but damn it, I WANT to stay positive. The problem is, when a coach either waits this long to make a change so close to the season, or decides to play stupid head games (we're not quite sure which yet), it makes you start to look back over the little things. And maybe they haven't been as little as we thought.
