Player in your mind who is just too good to let get away and who we really need and could use so much that it is worth drafting before other teams get to where they probably have him rated to draft on their boards. With which of our picks had we better grab with before he is gone, and Kiper and McShay chime in with, "A bit too soon for him. I had him listed at #___ on my board?

He is definitely one worth considering. I think our R2 pick will be the toughest to decide about. I think CBs will be flying off the board so quickly the first and second day of the draft, that you are going to have to get one as soon as you can. In our case, we really could use 2. I don't want us to get stuck in mid-rounds having to settle for some 5'8' or 5'9' CB if we could have had one of the top 6'-6'3" guys in late R1 or R2.

The more I look closely at our needs and knowing how strong this draft is through the first 50 or 60 players, it will be hard not to accept a a few high R1,2,3 picks for our #3 pick to get several really good starters. But how many teams are in such a position to accommodate us, 4 or 5 maybe, at most. Colts and Panthers might be in the best position strength wise to not mind making a deal for the QB they think is that good.

I aint sweating our corner situation right now. This draft has several good ones and if we re sign murph, a couple vets will do us fine. Lots of corners in the draft means lots of older guys will be out of work come summer time.

But there are a few solid IOL guys, and that is a desperate need. if we get 2 of anything it should be those guys...we need guys that can anchor the pocket for 12 years.... Kyler gets skittish when the front gets pushed back

I’d be okay with this but if he demolishes his workouts, he won’t even last that long.
