Izzo dismisses G Lucious for season (AP)

Michigan State coach Tom Izzo has dismissed junior guard Korie Lucious for the rest of the season, another blow for the slumping Spartans. The 5-foot-11 Lucious averaged 6.5 points in 18 games for 25th-ranked Michigan State (12-7, 4-3 Big Ten), which has lost two straight and hosts Michigan on Thursday.
