Word tonight is he’s been bounced from the Bulls rotation and that he’s possibly being shopped. He signed a 2 year/$40 million deal over the offseason. I believe the second year is a team option. Played PF for the Bucks. Any interest?

I'd be very leary, just from looking over his stats on Basketball Reference. It would appear they are quite a bit worse when he's on the court.

Hard pass. Bucks didn’t care about losing and now bulls don’t either.

Advanced stats show he's like the 3rd worst player in the NBA when on the court.

No interest in him as a player but if there was something reasonable we could attach to Anderson to entice the Bulls to eat the last year of his deal I'd be all for it.

It's funny how expectations and reality often diverge. Parker was dubbed the next Lebron while a junior in high school... and now just few short years later, no one wants him. Then there was Andrew Wiggins a year later who was supposed to be the next Lebron. He's been better than Parker, but hardly Lebron-like. Just a reminder of how sports media loves a good over-hype.

Sure but it's not just the hype machine at work. These aren't finished products so the talk is as much about what they've done as what they might be able to do as they mature and progress in the game. And, to state the obvious, not everybody progresses as predicted.

Weren't Wiggins and Parker in the same year in high school, college and then the draft?

Who is the second worst? A part of me wants to see the worst, second, and third worst player all sharing the court together and we can make that happen by getting Parker and letting him play with Jackson and whoever #2 is.

I'm pretty sure, even right now, in this season, that 2012/13 Michael Beasley is the worst player in the league. I'll have to check the metrics, but I think he was so bad that it's still carrying over.

Yes, because Wiggins reclassified to Parker's class.

When the Suns signed Michael Beasley to be "The Man" here is when people should have been calling for the league office to step in. At that point the case could be made that Sarver really had no idea what he was doing. I guess it can be worse. I think Igor should use game tape from that season to motivate our team now. Sell it to them, "We can't be worse than these guys!" Call out Booker and Ayton specifically since both are supposed to be franchise players. They need to lead us to more wins than Michael Freaking Beasley. Signed to be our savior and could only play in 20 minutes a game while scoring 10 points. Definite franchise low point.

I can tell you all these advanced stats are way wrong. I've watched him and he is clearly the worst player in the NBA coasting to collect that contract. No way he gets traded, unless it's something like a Zack Randolph who is MIA for him straight up.

There are advanced stats that say he's not horrible? I didn't know that. I've watched him play too, if the numbers in any way imply he is anything but a huge negative, it's time to invent new numbers.

No, the stats saying he is the 3rd worse player are being way toooooooo nice to him.

Beasley set his personal worst playing for Phoenix. Heck there are years when he was only 10 or 15 percent below average.

Ehh... not really. He's been consistently terrible. He's had a couple years since his return from China where he merely "stunk", but in virtually any season where he was granted enough playing time he was one of the most detrimental players to his own team in the league.

There isn't a single year in his career where his team was not wildly more successful with him on the bench. His most "efficient" season came for Houston in 2015/16, while his individual stats gave the appearance of someone who wasn't a disaster, the Rockets were outscored by 10.5 points per 100 when he played and posted a +1.3 when he didn't. So, even at his best, when it comes to helping his team win, he is one of the worst players... ever.

He's a dude whom if the entire league subscribed to "moneyball" roster building would have been out of the league back in about... 2011.
