Just as we were beginning to run out of things to say about Jacob deGrom’s incredible season, the New York Mets ace went out and broke an MLB record that some might have thought unbreakable. With his seven innings pitched and two runs allowed against the Marlins on Tuesday, deGrom posted his 26th straight start allowing three runs or fewer. Jacob deGrom is officially done after seven innings and two runs.
