If Manchester United are to improve and build on their third-placed Premier League finish, they need to sign better players. Jadon Sancho, who is United's No.1 summer transfer target, is one of the most exciting young talents in world football - way past being considered a prospect - and will make the team and squad better. A player capable of producing 17 goals and 16 assists in the Bundesliga in a single season is exactly the kind of elite signing Manchester United should be making. But where does he play? Where does Sancho fit in? Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has most often set his team up in a 4-2-3-1 / 4-3-3 system, with Bruno Fernandes pulling the strings as a 10, Marcus Rashford wide left, Anthony Martial through the middle, and Mason Greenwood establishing himself wide right after a breakthrough season. Sancho is as likely to start games on the left as inside-forward as he is to terrify the opposition full-back as a winger on the right, a player who thrives in one v one situations and tight spaces, who cuts inside or drives down the channel depending on the situation, and who regularly creates, assists and scores.
