Jalen fills a much bigger immediate need for us than even PG of the future would have.

If the Suns can get a second round pick there are some backup point guards to be had.

Who are you and how did you hack 1Sun's account?

Nope, still me, and I still feel the same, though I would have preferred Haliburton.

If there is any way we can convince Serge Ibaka to come here for the MLE, we need to make it happen. Ibaka is exactly the guy after whom Smith should and can model his game.

Looking at Patrick Williams at 4, and I think Jaylen Smith is better at 10 if we had to pick a PF.

Lots of green with the only red being ast and steals, which isn’t that big of a deal for a PF.

I've always liked Jalen Smith although I had Haliburton going earlier.

What is sort of funny, Smith is the first player I did a draft thread on. Then, like now, I couldn't figure out why he wasn't rated higher.

I think Smith is more than worthy of being drafted number 10.

High character hard worker who actually can space the floor too. Won't take any nights off. Will be in the rotation right off at the 4, imo. Will be interesting to see if they go with Saric or Baines to b/u Ayton.
$$ will determine what they do.

Who do they target with the mid exception $$?

That depends on 1) how the suns view Cameron payne and 2) how they view next years draft (its supposed to be way better than this one)

You don't need years to groom a PGOTF.
I'm thinking 2021 is a perfect draft to find a PGOTF.

You can be groomed while contributing. Backup PG’s are important and CP3 is 35/injury prone.

I’m biased cause I think Payne was more flukey than anything.

Suns need to add another point guard. Someone like DJ Augustin would be nice.

Also some point guards in the second round that can play if the Suns can buy a pick.
