NFL | Miller Ponders Retirement - from www.KFFL.com
Tue, 6 May 2003 04:46:51 -0700

Updating previous reports, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports free agent LB Jamir Miller (Browns) is pondering retirement, Cleveland Browns president Carmen Policy said Monday. Apparently, Miller’s decision would be financially driven and not related to his injury situation.

I can't remove from my mind the image of Jamir eating "early bird" dinners and whipping around in a motorized cart around some Florida "adult" community.

I dont think this means he is poor. If that were the case he would be trying to play longer and earn more of that NFL dough!

He must be financially set and just is pondering wether or not he wants to play anymore IMO!

Or more to the point, how much $$$ will a team offer him.
He'd rather retire than play for a cheap contract.

Exactly!

Which proves my point that he is more then likely financially secure and doesnt need to play for a measley 800,000 per or so!

Very True - if he was hard up for cash, he'd take the first contract offered.
