Former Cowboys tight end Jason Witten faced one of the defining moments of his young broadcasting career on Monday when he addressed the Washington Redskins’ widely criticized acquisition of linebacker Reuben Foster, who was released from the San Francisco 49ers after multiple arrests for domestic violence. Witten did not hold back. The Monday Night Football commentator lambasted Washington’s decision to claim Foster and that young players like Foster had to learn there is zero tolerance for violence against women in the league.
