Hornets center Al Jefferson says that while his right calf is extremely sore, he's relieved the injury is not more serious. Coach Steve Clifford says an MRI on the back of Jefferson's upper calf and knee area Thursday proved negative. Jefferson is expected to meet with team physicians, who'll determine how long he'll be out. Jefferson says ''the quicker we can get the pain out, the quicker I can be back.
