Jets DE Ellis injures hand, leaves game (AP)

Defensive end Shaun Ellis has left the New York Jets' playoff game against the San Diego Chargers with a hand injury. Ellis apparently was hurt during the Chargers' first offensive series. The Jets said his return was questionable. Ellis has been nursing a knee injury. He had 53 tackles and 6 1/2 sacks this season.
