These are the teams and their respective GMs.

No Trades are allowed and you simply post your pick when the team before you has posted theirs. I will check every so often and post an update of the players selected but simply look at who has selected before you. Try to keep in mind the team you are representing. Know what they have done in free agency. Know what positions in the near future might need to be filled. And lastly, most mocks never seem to turn out right because everybody drafts according to need and just keep in mind that in the first round talent might override need. And yes, you by all means can draft according to the quirks of a certain team but do it within the realms of reality if that is possible in a fictitious mock lol

The Texans have many options at No.1. Trade the pick, taking a hometown kid in Manziel, Bortles, pass rushing demon Clowney or stud OLB Mack...and IMO either would be the correct selection.

With the 1st pick of the 2014 NFL draft...the Houston Texans select...

Sammy Watkins was the preferred choice. Now that he's gone the Jaguars go with the QB. They opt for the guy that can breathe life back into the franchise and attract the fans and media: Johnny Manziel

Who would have been your choice?

I think they would take Bortles over Manziel. I think most NFL teams would see Bortles as less of a boom/bust choice than Manziel. If I'm a GM and I had to choose between the two I take Bortles every time. Less risk and I think a higher upside. Manziel is more like Plummer. I think he can improve however I don't think his ceiling is high enough to take at #3.

Gutsy call. But I think their coach is enamored with Bortles.

Thought about bortles but is he really any different than chad henne? It was between Mack or the QB. I went with the potential franchise changer.

I promise you those fans won't boo that choice...in fact they would go bazinga over Meziel coming to Jax!!!

While Bortles may be the safer pick in your mind & JF has a bigger bust/star potential, I think his ceiling is much higher because he can make huge plays out of plays that break down. But that's my opinion...you like vanilla, I like orange sherbet & jamoca :D

Only time will tell...

I suspect Jedd Fisch, the OC, will be pushing for either of them, but not BridgeH2O. He was actually able to get some plays out of Henne last year. I suspect Clowney or Robinson to go here and Jags grab the Z man (Zettenberger) in round 2.

The Browns are on the clock, Cardiac is currently looking for a marker to write down his selection but the Browns haven't even brought any paper to the event. I hugged Clowney, Watkins but Johnny Football totally ignored me. All the players are getting really crapalicious team caps made by Nike which as Burt Reynolds would have said in the movie "The End", "It looks like Walt Disney threw up everywhere". The major sentiment in all the interviews with the drafted players can be summed up in one word which they seem to have a habit of saying over and over again which is the word "definitely" and a small sprinkle of '110%' and a little tad of 'blessed'
Cardiac.. your Browns are on the clock

I was actually working today and just got home.

Really wanted Watkins since that would give the Browns arguably the best receiving corps in the league, of course they really don't have anyone to throw them the ball. :) Well actually they have Hoyer who was playing well before getting injured. I also hear rumors that they are looking hard at some of the "2nd rd talent" at QB and with another pick in the 1st rd (26th) and 5 picks in the first 83 picks they have plenty of ammo to move up and get a QB who starts to fall in the draft.

So with the 4th pick the Browns go for a planet player and take Khalil Mack.

I agree with them looking at QB in round 2 but I think they are targeting Watkins with this pick.

Thesmel would be targeting Leinart, THT, Beanie & Matt Barkley. :D I wonder which one he would choose? Lol Just run the rock 57 times for 98 yards & we win dammit ;)

In a van...down by the river.
Rams on Demand?
Yeah.
I was targeting Calvin Pryor but he was gone at #20. Ebron was there, but i've read where Arians prefers a more balanced TE who can block as well as get out and run routes. I traded down to #29, picked up an extra 3rd and picked Dee Ford.

These mocks are interesting to compare on different team boards. :)
