I said I was not going to do one but what the hell, the draft always excites me :)

1)Dekoda Watson, OLB Florida St.- intense player who might not have got the notice he deserved playing on a team which did not reflect it achievements of its past tradition. Guy is fast, smart and loves to hit...especially QBs :)

2)Myron Lewis, CB Vanderbilt- tall CB who is fluid in his movement with the speed and physical play to match up against the trend of tall WRs and give us some depth

3)Jerry Hughes, DE TCU- if he is able to put his athletic ability to full use, he will be a terror and more insurance for a pass rush

3)Shawnbrey McNeal, HB SMU- I know we have our HB situation possibly set but he offers more as a third down back than Howlings (who I still love for his special teams play)...a X factor type of guy. A transfer from Miami to SMU which has some serious ability

4)Joe Pawelek, ILB Baylor- Plain solid player who won't wow you in his athletic ability but knows his position and plays the physical type of ball with discipline

6)Ryan Perrilloux, QB Jacksonville State- The screw it pick and a huge gamble- but there is a 15% chance of getting an elite weapon on offense and that is worth a 6th round pick

7)Shawn Lauvao, G Arizona St.- brute force which would make a great project for Grimm

I do appreciate the time and effort it takes to put together a mock draft.

Having said that, Dekoda Watson in the 1st rd; what you smoking Holmes.

I'll change my avatar to anything you chose if Watson is drafted before Hughes.

I'll stop there. Thanks for the effort.

I admire Pat Tillman way to much to ever want you to replace your Avatar for any reason. Just trying to be realistic and avoiding the hype some players get weeks before the draft. Would love to draft a guy like McClain but he will not be there. And I'm confident in the ability of Watson on the NFL level regardless of the what the NFL shows care to say because of their current darling moving up the charts, I watched the guy a couple of times and read his reports and I like the guy...so there LOL

Id called another draft the worst ive seen so far but im gonna to adjust that declaration and reassign it to this one. Dekoda Watson in the first? lay off the kool-aid buddy. Myron Lewis is a decent CB (although i remember hearing he'd be better suited to FS)but now way does he go in the second and i dont think he's even rated in the top 10 CB in the draft. Hughes in the third would be a dream but that guy does not get past the middle of the second and will most likely be gone in the first. All the other picks are not worthy of the rounds you've selected in excempt maybe your last pick as i dont know much about him.

Im sorry JG, but i think its back to the drawing board for you buddy.

I'd be fine with Perriloux in the 6th, the guy has talent. If you switch the rounds for Watson (3a) and Hughes (1) its fine. Cody (2), Spikes (3b), and OT in the 7th and i'd love this draft :).

Oh and maybe A.J. Jefferson in the 4th.

The draft predictions go nuts weeks before the draft. I have seen us taking Kindle at 26 and I just do not see him being there. Hughes has moved up drastically the last month but I think the NFL teams do not really pay much attention to this outrageous movement. If the hype lets us get a guy like Kindle or Spikes at 26...I'm totally pumped about that. I just think about Beanie Wells falling to us last year at 31 and hope the rest of the NFL allows such talent to fall to us again. The Sporting News did have Lewis ranked high btw ;)

You'd be pumped to draft Spikes at #26 in the first round? Thank goodness you aren't in our FO! Sorry man, but that'd be the reach of the century!!!
