Steve, you got competition buddy.

Seriously though, Jim Carrey is a funny dude.

Just a sample of his love declarations:

"we would laugh all day long and go camping and play Yahtzee."

I'm so not happy. I hate it when these rich Hollywood types think they can move in and stalk someone I've already decided to stalk. They think they own the world. In all seriousness, Emma Stone, IMO, is the most talented actress/comedienne I have ever seen. She just makes me laugh and she nails every performance.

BTW, has it been a week yet since the last time I recommended her movie, Easy A? If so, I'm due to plug it any minute now.

Haha now I will have to watch it. I almost went and saw The Help the other day but I saw it was over 2hours and I just couldn't handle that kind of committment, not even for Emma.

That video is funny though.

he goes; "...and the sex well,,,," and then just like stares off into space. Hilarious.

AND the fact that a bunch of the internet media is flipping out about it and saying he is serious makes it even more hilarious. Seriously doesn't anyone appreciate some good satire anymore???

If I were JC I would release another one and say; "I wasn't kidding I was 100% dead serious."

Yeah and not a little bit creepy either. Well, maybe a little creepy. You have to see Easy A even if it's not your type of movie. It's worth its just to watch the personality she brings to her character.

I can see why she's caught Carrey's eye. She has a small role in the recent Matthew McConaughey movie where she plays the first Ghost of Girlfriends Past and she plays the role in much the same manner as Jim Carrey plays his over-the-top comedic parts. I wouldn't recommend the movie, I just watched it as part of my digital stalking of Emma Stone routine. I should probably mention I really like this young lady (AND, she's from Scottsdale!!!).

Haha yea I've seen Easy A, it's fantastic. I thought it was going to be another cheezy teen movie, and without Emma Stone (and her parents) that's what it would have been but they made it super witty and funny.

I really cant stop watching that Jim Carrey thing, it's so damn funny. I'm not surprised people didn't get it. It IS a LITTLE creepy but that's the point, that's why it's so damn funny!

My appreciation for Jim Carrey just went up a bunch of notches.

I thought I was losing my mind, I was pretty sure we discussed this movie (and her parents) in the Easy A thread but your comment (Ha ha now I will have to watch it) confused me. Not that it's all that hard to do, I get confused daily. BTW, you really should check out Easy A - it's a great movie.

I have mixed feelings about seeing The Help. It's not really my kind of movie but the lure of Emma will surely drag me in once Netflix adds it to their instant watch list. All told, I think I'm more interested in Crazy, Stupid, Love. Hollywood, if you're listening, remake The Mask with Emma Stone in Jim Carrey's role. Now that would be a remake I'd look forward to. They could follow that up with a dramatic turn for her, I'm thinking she could handle a rewrite of Don Vito Corleone. It's time to break down the gender barriers.
