As a NFL head coach he has won 100% of his games. Who wouldn't want a head coach with a perfect record.

So a position coach leapfrogs the DC Vic Fangio to become the HC. If I were Vic I wouldn't stay unless they overpaid me.
Sadly his only win came against the Arizona Cardinals.

Typed this as I was leaving the office. Mispelled his name in the OP and forgot to add an OT: at the front (although this is more relevant to the Cardinals' prospects than, say, Rex Ryan to the Bills). Mods can adjust the title as appropriate...

If he wanted to leave because they went below him on the totem pole to pick the head coach and they didn't let him leave, I'd imagine they'd have a tough time finding assistants wanting to go there in the future.

i have read that the FO has liked him for some time.
Curioius to see who his new OC will be.
as much as Harbaugh was a tool -- he was a darn good coach. Tomsula will have some giant shoes to fill.
what i hated about playing the 49ers was that it always seemed like Harbaugh/Roman came up with 4-6 plays a game that were just wide open.
