The beginning of the first set was tight with the Jimmies lead sitting at 10-9. The Jimmies (5-16) flew out of the gates in the second set to a 9-3 lead before the Buccaneers were able to claw their way back into it at 16-14. The Jimmies' Niemiec got another kill to end the run and go up 17-14 and that allowed the Jimmies to push the lead out once again and get the 25-18 second set win.
The Jimmies got off to a fast start once again in the third set taking a 12-3 lead but the Buccaneers did their best to fight back into it getting it closer at 15-9 but the Jimmies immediately responded making it 19-10. The Buccaneers (1-13) got it closer at 22-15 but it was too little, too late as the Jimmies finished the match on a 3-0 run with three consecutive Buccaneers errors making the difference to get the third set win.
