Problem Solutions Technician I
General Description:
Approximately three-quarter-time Help Desk duties (user support, hardware/software installation & maintenance, and basic network configuration) and one-quarter-time Web Designer (corporate web site and internal intranet). Hardware/Software troubleshooting and support for Global IT Solutions central office and by telephone/web support statewide. 10% travel statewide when assigned by Business Development Manager. Microsoft, Veritas, Trend Micro and Symantec software support. Dell, Hp and Cisco hardware support.

Required Skills:

· Install/support experience with Windows XP, Office 2003, and Small Business Server 2003. (Microsoft Skills Assessment Required)

· Dell hardware install/support desktop/laptop/Server.

Work experience requirements:

· At least 2-3 years experience supporting Microsoft Operating Systems, Office Applications, and Server OS.

· 2-3 years experience in Small Business segment. (less than 100 employees)

Education Requirements

· High school diploma or GED

· College Degree or Microsoft MCDST, MCSA or MCSE certification preferred.

· Dell Hardware Certifications Preferred

I do, I go to school right now, I work my school schedual around my work schedual, I still have 2 years left.
