Joba Chamberlain dominated the Boston Red Sox with his best major league start and the surging New York Yankees moved two games behind their longtime rivals with a 1-0 victory Friday night. Chamberlain allowed three singles and struck out nine in a career-high seven innings, Mariano Rivera shut down a threat in the eighth and the Yankees improved to 7-0 since the All-Star game.
