Did anyone else get tired of Joe Garagiola blaming every bad call on Questec Friday and Sunday? I mean how can you blame Questec when the umpire calls what should be a ball a strike? It doesn't make sense. I think at one point he said there was a Questec camera on a grassy knoll.
I love Curt Schilling's pitching, but I was getting tired of watching pitchers like him and especially Glavine gets strikes that were so outside the batter couldn't reach them. I mean Tom Glavine will be a first ballot Hall of Famer in large part because he consistently got strikes 6-8" off the plate.
The only complaint I have about narrowing the strike zone is that these umpires also need to give the pitchers the high strike if they are going to take away the wide strike zone. I mean those umpires over the weekend essentially made the strike zone a batter's wet dream (it made it even more frustrating when the Diamondbacks couldn't hit against Schmidt or Williams).
Anyhow, my intention of this post was not to praise Questec. I just wanted to see if anyone else was annoyed with Joe Garagiola's constant complaints about it.
