Joe Torre rips RJ in his book

Here is what he said about Randy:

Randy Johnson is a future Hall of Famer, but Torre was startled by how unnerved the pitcher sometimes was.

“The biggest surprise to me was how Randy Johnson could get rattled,” Torre said. “I wish we knew this about him in the 2001 World Series when we played against him. You could rattle him. Every start with Randy, it would be, ‘This guy has my pitches, that guy has my pitches …’”

There’s no question that New York is a different place to play. Everything you do is magnified and criticized. He was uncomfortable pitching in New York.”

I think the comments are funny. It seems like back in the day, everytime RJ lost, Brenly or whoever would say right after "we looked at the tape and found something that might be Randy tipping his pitches."

Im so tired of hearing about this from the NY media.. What makes the Yankees held to a higher standard in what people can or cant say about them? Now the Yankees are considering putting in "cant talk bad about the Yankees" clauses in future contracts.. Disgusting.. Just another reason to hate them pompus asses..
