Gambo is going off on 98.7 right now. He says that Goran's not the only one, IT and Bledsoe are unhappy as well Goran just happens to be the only one who has come out publicly.

He say IT is not happy with his role off the bench and that he hasn't been happy with it all season long.

Gambo says signing IT was the domino affect in all of this.

What a mess. Trading Dragic won't even fix this, there are others who are unhappy as well.

You can listen to it live here:

Such a rough life that these guys that get paid millions to play hoop have. So sad they aren't happy.

:sarcasm:

But seriously, if Dragic is gone and they both get more minutes at the point, I expect that might make them a bit "happier."

If IT becomes starter like he wants to be, IT-Bledsoe starting backcourt will be tiniest starting backcourt in NBA history.

You need two good PGs in this league, period. Dumping White Joe Johnson will solve the problem.

This is getting comical. If true, just dump IT for pennies, and trade Dragic and let the youngins play.

The Suns insider on realgm says that the altercation in the locker room earlier this year involving one of the Morri involved Dragic. Apparently Dragic initiated it and confronted another PG (I am guessing Thomas?) and one of the Morris brothers stepped in to defend Thomas(?)

IT needs to get real. He will never be a starter in the NBA because of his limited height and his lack of defense. Actually, IT was put in a good situation with the Suns because he was getting significant minutes in their three guard rotation.

Kings fans I know all warned me that IT would eventually start complaining about playing time or touches. One of them even offered me a bet (which I thankfully declined) that he would drive Bledsoe or Goran out of town.

They didn't really have to many nice things to say about him when he left the kings

I'd trade IT right now if there was a good option out there. Maybe trade him in the summer or next season.

Ditto... It was a poor signing but IIRC, the Suns still weren't sure about Bledsoe when they inked the deal with IT, right??

Seth Pollack @sethpo
So this season both Isaiah Thomas and Goran Dragic said or implied they had trust issues w. Suns FO. Not good.

Seth Pollack @sethpo
You just have to wonder if Ryan McDonough’s inexperience is coming through. Great “dealer” but still a game played by people not assets.

Seth Pollack @sethpo
As someone else pointed out, there’s huge irony in Suns acquiring assets to trade for disgruntled star causing them to lose there’s.

Seth Pollack @sethpo
Dragic has spent his entire career up until now being a “good soldier” and getting bounced around. He’s earned the right to take control.
WOW.

I Don't trust him.
Whether Gambo said it or not, the outcome of Dragic/Bledsoe/Thomas on the same roster was so predictable.

Did the Suns Front Office really think that pitting them against each other for playing time -- and backcourt dominance -- would last?

Has an NBA team ever had the triplication like that at one position? Especially pushing from the bottom up.

I'd be curious if any of you guys can come up with any.

Especially when Hornacek played a three guard offense. I think this escalated a difficult situation. IT should have been a backup PG at best.

That's what I've wondered about as well. Did the Suns really think their gonna invent something new that no GM has ever thought of before?

There's a reason why other teams don't try stuff like that.

We had KJ/Kidd/Nash at one point....not a bad trio of PGs

Did the three of them finish every game on the floor at the same time, pushing everyone else out of position? Of course not.

The Suns had a lead Point Guard and a clear backup. And Nash was the inexperienced apprentice. Their roles were clear and separate. And it involved one position.

I should hope that Suns management recognizes the difference . . . but they still don't, as evidenced by today's trades.
