John H.. Tell me about these Arkansas kids.

I was checking the recruiting sites and say that Mustain QB and a couple of his teammates are headed to Arkansas from Springdale. I'll admit I am not up on high school recruiting, but from what I have seen it looks like Arkansas is going to get an infusion of talent.

I was checking the recruiting sites and say that Mustain QB and a couple of his teammates are headed to Arkansas from Springdale. I'll admit I am not up on high school recruiting, but from what I have seen it looks like Arkansas is going to get an infusion of talent.

Mustain was named USA Offensive Player of the year in USA today as a QB. He decommited from Florida a couple of weeks ago.The receivers he was throwing to also are coming to Arkansas and some big schools were after all of them. I Think they had two of the best freshman RB's in the nation last year and if they stay healthy they will be in the NFL. They also brought the High School Coach from the Springdale High School team to be the Offensive Coordinator (Duh-that is how we got those guys to commit). Houston Nutt the Coach has been reluctant to give up calling all the plays but I think Frank Broyles laid down the law. I think in 2 years they will be a real force if these guys stay healthy. That Springdale High School team finished 2nd best in the nation at 16-0 and were averaging an enormous amount of points. Mustain, I think completed 74% of his passes. I thought he would go to Notre Dame. Aside from this he is a smart likeable young man. We need something good to happen as we have been like the Cardinals lately.

Yeah thanks. I was really impressed with the highlights I saw from those recruits. I noticed that one of their Oline went to Notre Dame. It will be interesting to follow them. They seem to be an explosive combo.
