The Baltimore Ravens have achieved great success under head coach John Harbaugh. To that end, the AFC North champions announced on Friday that they have agreed with him on a three-year contract extension.

Harbaugh was heading into the final year of his current contract, and the extension will take him through the 2028 season.

Harbaugh currently is the second-most tenured coach with one team in the NFL at 17 seasons. Mike Tomlin has been with the AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers for 18 seasons.

Harbaugh is 171-104 since taking over from Brian Billick in Baltimore before the 2008 season.

Harbaugh is one of five coaches to lead their team to the postseason 12 times in his first 17 seasons, sharing that distinction alongside Pete Carroll, Bud Grant, Mike Holmgren, and Mike McCarthy.

He has 13 playoff victories, eight coming on the road. John Harbaugh and the Ravens beat brother Jim and the 49ers at Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans in 2013, 34–31.
