The "Oh, Brother" thread got me thinking about some underrated or unknown Turturro movies out there.

A couple of my favorites:

"Mac"
A story about 3 second generation itallian brothers' home building business. They're at odds about how to best balance "old-world" craftsmanship with "new world" entrepenurialism (sp).

"Box of Moonlight" (with Sam Rockwell)
An uptight engineer falls into a midlife crisis while on an out of town job and falls in with a misfit hillbilly/daniel boone-type (The Kid).

John Turturro is one of the most talented actors I have ever seen. With that said, he should stop hanging around with Adam Sandler....he is better than the bit roles he has been given from him.
