One of the espn guys called him that during a game a few years back lol. I think it was during the SB run.

Iirc, it was a Bellick reference during a Fox game. The same man that brought us "Antron"

Yes, but no income tax in Florida

I think people make way too much out of this no income tax thing. Trust me the government gets their money one way or another. They may not have a state income tax but neither does Texas. But I can tell you from living in Oregon and paying $1700 a year for property taxes on a $229,000 house compared to paying $3900 a year for $160,000 house in Texas they get their money. Plus every time you buy something it's anywhere from 6.25% to 7.25%. Rich people living in states with high sales taxes do to no state income tax, that buy a lot of things or spending just as much money or maybe more if there was a state income tax. Every time Dansby goes out and buys a luxury car or some bling or even dinner he's paying his state tax. As the old saying goes the two things you can count on in this world is death and taxes.

Someday this franchise might reach the point where we can be just happy about the team we have and not search for ex-Cardinals doing poorly to make us feel better.

That'd be a nice change.

more than happy w our team. Just kept seeing everyone hate on miami and avoid it like the plague and it made me thing of dansberry.

Only thing I miss about dansby is the bird sack dance.

But add in a second round pick and there are likely plenty.

It's a moot point. It happened the way it happened. I like DWash and am not looking backwards unless provoked! ;)

A 2nd round and a 3rd round. The extra third they had acquired in trade that they gave up to move up in the second round.

The Cards could have picked up Pat Angerer or NaVarro Bowman and Jimmy Graham with those picks for instance. That was a really solid draft for the Cards so I don't think they end up with Daniel Te'Nesheims. Steve Keim is too good for that.

But like you say it doesn't matter now because the Cards have a real Defensive Coordinator and a solid Defense and Miami's Defense ranked 6th best in points per game so everybody's happy.

Dolphins are becoming the "Same Ole Cardinals" from the 90s and early 2000s.

Signing David Garrard to a one-year contract is akin to the Cards signing Jeff Blake to a one-year contract in 2003.

With Devon Bess as the #1 target, I don't see this team getting out of the cellar in the AFC east and will likely be in the Matt Barkley/Landry Jones sweepstakes in 2013, unless they are clueless and roll the dice with Tannehill.

Jeff Blake. Now that is one Bengal I enjoyed watching. No, not really.

I actually think Dansby and DWash would be dynamic together, they are both sound tacklers, good in coverage, can rush the passer some. Move them both inside, one inside one outside, or both outside depending on the package. I'm not suggesting we should have resigned Dansby for what Miami paid him, just wish we could see both of them on the field together.

The card could've still had Bowman...
