After spending nearly a month on the free agent market and taking visits with several NFL teams, former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews has finally found a new home. The 25-year-old pass catcher reportedly signed a one-year contract with the New England Patriots on Thursday evening. The Eagles traded Matthews and a 2018 third-round pick to the Bills last summer in exchange for cornerback Ronald Darby. Matthews was essentially a throw-in in that deal. JMatt struggled to produce in Buffalo as he battled through lingering injuries that he ultimately blamed on the Eagles’ medical staff.
