Here are the Upstate’s top performers in high school athletics for the week of March 24-30. Check back throughout the week for updates.

Monday​

Baseball​


Emory Horton, Boiling Springs: Horton saved a 2-1 win against Byrnes by getting the last five outs with three strikeouts and no hits allowed.

Coleman Brown, Dorman: Brown had two doubles and a triple in a 7-1 win against Wade Hampton.

Cooper DeVries, Eastside: DeVries pitched six innings and struck out 11 with four hits and two walks allowed in a 5-3 win against Gaffney.

Brayden Passmore, Fountain Inn: Passmore pitched a complete game, allowing one earned run with nine strikeouts and no walks in a 5-3 win against Westside.

Josh Carlson, J.L. Mann: Carlson pitched a complete game two-hitter and struck out nine with no walks in a 3-0 win against Catawba Ridge.

Nolan Collins, Landrum: Collins homered, doubled, scored three runs and drove in three in a 12-11 win against Blue Ridge. He drew a two-out walk in the bottom of the seventh to start a four-run rally and a walk-off win.

Hayden Stewart, Palmetto: Stewart went 2-for-3 with four RBIs in a 12-2 win against Pickens.

Coleman Wagner, Palmetto: Wagner had two hits, including a three-run homer.

Jackson Robinson, T.L. Hanna: Robinson struck out six and allowed just one hit in 3.2 innings of a 3-0 win against Mauldin.

Easton Thomas, T.L. Hanna: Thomas finished the last 3.1 innings, allowing no hits and striking out three.

Boys track and field​


Amiri Acker, Crescent: Acker won the 100 meters (11.22 seconds) and the 200 meters (22.82) in an eight-team home track and field meet.
