Tennessee practiced for a fifth time during spring football on Tuesday. Tuesday also marked the Vols' third spring practice in full pads.
Six running backs are on Tennessee's roster during spring football.
Redshirt sophomore DeSean Bishop and sophomore Peyton Lewis return in 2025 after appearing in a combined 23 games for the Vols in 2024.
Redshirt junior Hunter Barnes also played in four contests for Tennessee last season.
Tennessee added freshmen Justin Baker and Daune Morris, and senior transfer Star Thomas from to Duke to its spring roster.

Following the Vols' fifth spring practice, head coach Josh Heupel discussed Tennessee's running back unit.
"Strong, physical, play without the ball in their hands," Heupel said. "Through the first five days, as we continue, this is day three for us in pads, you get to the scrimmage, see how they operate on game day like scenarios, but they've done a really good job pressing line of scrimmage, making plays.
"The group, as a whole, really connected. They compete hard in the meeting room, so it's just about consistent growth from those guys."
