With DJ's contract at $10 million plus next season the likelihood is he's out the door.

Josh Jacobs might be a solid replacement on a rookie deal for the next 3 years.

Thoughts

I don’t see it but I’ll go on record as saying Jacobs is going to be a stud comparable to Maurice Jones drew.

with the makeup of the draft it would be a huge mistake for this team to draft a RB in round 2 IMO.
TE, OL, WR are where the strength is with pick 33...we can get a good RB in round 5 if we want one.
33 may also still be solid for dline if we dont draft one at 1

If Miles Sanders is there at the start of day three your pick him with the third round selection and never look back. He may very well be already gone by in day two.

Pointless. No need to make this move. We have Edmonds, not that he's a world beater, but the rest of this team needs way more help. If we need to cut ties with DJ, other RBs will be available.

I wouldn't mind a day three RB. Always injuries at that position. One of the only positions that late round players regularly make an impact.

Henderson is a guy who might fall to the 4th/5th. He looks To have similar skills to DJ

Jacobs is easily the best back in the draft.

Can’t see the Cards taking him though.
