Is really playing well.

He has grown into a quality NFL QB. He stands in the pocket and makes accurate throws. Only runs when he needs to and is good at it.

He was terrible when he was with us. Good to see him playing at this level.

I don't care what anyone says I've watched his last few games. The guy is just damn good. He could be a starter in this league for another 4 years I'm guessing.

Kids making himself some $$$$ this year!

agree 100%. I read where he is crediting his time away from the NFL spent as a high school coach with helping him understand the game on a different level. He is playing great, and good for him. It's been many moons since that famous pass to Nate Poole!

He is making all the throws tonight. Short passes with guys in his face. Hard accurate medium routes. Out routes with touch on the ball. No panic when facing the rush and takes a hit after throwing the ball. He is reading the D and taking what they give.

He gets it now and it shows. Good for him.

I liked the guy and wanted him to succeed. Not a hater, I just finally gave up on him.
Nice to see him do so well.

He seems to be going through a DeBerg-esque renaissance doesn't he. I mean, what the frack! He's torching the Cowgirls tonight.

I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Da Bears letting Cutler walk after this season given how well McCown has played. In fact, he's played better without the headaches!!! :p

Cutler to the Cards anyone?

And who would have ever thought this would even be considered a few years ago. In the 4 yrs prior he has 400 yards 2 TDS and 4 INTs.

There is a lot to be said about Trestman getting the best out of him - Josh may not have ever done this with another team. That being said, he has latched on to the tools he was handed and excelled. At Bear minimum (couldn't help myself) he surely could be the starter for that team and that staff until he retires.

But also remember, Dallas' defense is likely the most porous substance on earth.

I last saw Josh play a few seasons ago in the UFL. He split time with another guy I had never heard of and looked about the same as here. A couple of "Wow!" throws followed by a couple of "What???!!!" throws.

Now, he seems to be clicking with Trestman and the Bears. Seems like a nice young man. Good for him!

Good for Josh, I always loved that pass to Poole to knock the Vikings out. But he's not replacing Cutler.

McCown still throws one of the best jump balls I've ever seen. I thought that was his best attribute when he was here and it doesn't look like much has changed in that respect.

Give him two big, strong, physical receivers that can go up and get the ball and he can have some success.
