Guy has been in 5 teams in 7 years and has averaged 5.7 PPG and 4.2 RPG for his career just got paid $23 million for four years. This is nothing positive about that, even if he is marginally better than a 37 year old Chris Anderson and 34 year old Udonis Haslem. Also, both of tose guys would come cheaper together and give pretty much the same productivity.

Also, lets not forget, LeBron does not like that guy.

If LeBron sign with the Heat it will either be a short term max or the longer last one he will ever get. He will be 30 this upcoming season and his body will probably start breaking down in 3 years. He plays too many minutes and too hard to last forever.

Anderson, Wade, Allen, Haslem are old men and done. At least McRoberts is under 30.

The Heat made James aware that they were targeting McRoberts last month and James had no problem with that.

What do you actually know about his game? What about Anderson and Haslem's games, which is who McRoberts and Granger would replace. Until the Heat know if James will reupp, and he is dragging this thing out, Riley had to do something that was inside his cap budget.
