Josh Shipp rumored to be out for the year

Man I hope this one turns out to be false but 2 different UCLA boards say Xtra 570 in LA is reporting that Shipp's hip is still bothering him so much he's been advised to shut it down for the rest of the season

Brutal blow if true, with Bozeman probably out for the year(not yet sure) and Farmar hobbled UCLA is in dire straits without Shipp.

God I hope this one proves to be as accurate as the Farmar has a stress fracture and is out for the year rumors.

Damn, confirmed on Bruin Report Online, Ben Howland will apparently announce it officially in a few minutes on his weekly radio show. Shipp was playing in pain and apparently it was becoming harder and harder for Shipp.

Unreal, for Thursday night against WSU UCLA will have Bozeman, Shipp, Hollins and Fey in street clothes and nobody's really sure what to expect from Farmar's ankle.

This pretty well means UCLA can't contend for the conference title this year, hopefully they'll get enough wins the rest of the way to get an NCAA bid.
