Journalist provides crucial update on injured Man United defender Ayden Heaven

Manchester United defender Ayden Heaven suffered a serious injury in the Premier League match against Leicester City on Sunday.

The Red Devils comfortably won the match thanks to goals from Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes.

It was a brilliant performance from Ruben Amorim’s side but they are concerned about the injury suffered by young defender Heaven.

The former Arsenal youngster is starting to impress for the Red Devils and his recent brilliant performances have earned him the praise of his manager.

However, Amorim would be worried about the fitness of the young defender who was stretchered off at the King Power Stadium.

The Man United boss said in his post match interview:

“We will see next week. It’s hard to understand because even when he’s on the ground, he can’t speak, he doesn’t know how to explain what he’s feeling because he’s so young. It’s hard to understand what he’s feeling.”

Manchester Evening News senior writer Tyrone Marshall provided an encouraging update about the injury suffered by Heaven.

It is difficult to judge the extent of the injury at the moment and more scans will reveal further details about the injury.

It comes at the worst time for the Red Devils who are fighting to win the Europa League this season, the only competition that could save their season.

They are already dealing with the injuries of Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez and another player spending time on the sidelines would be a major blow to Amorim and his team.

Fans would be hoping that it is not a serious injury since the player was just starting to show his best for them after joining them in the winter transfer window.
