Weird. Also weird: the clips they show from the Rose Bowl are ASUs O line giving up sacks on Plummer.

Had no idea. All I can say is that my brother and I and some of our friends used to get together on occasion with some of the ASU football team including Jake, Pat and Juan for dunk ball tournaments. He was a very nice guy. In fact out of all 3 of them he and Pat were the most down to earth.

Never had seen anything out of him that would have indicated this but I guess people are capable of going to very dark places depending on where they are at in their lives.

I spent a lot of time covering that team, and Juan was the one guy that took his "poet warrior" status drop-dead seriously. He was all about honor and service.
