Usually gets announced between the 24th and the 26th. Hopefully today as I want to play the new trials game and if it wont be on this, I'm buying it right away.

saw those along with some others, last months rumors were way off so I ignored them.
And they are only basing those rumors on the fact that both those games have sequels just announced at E3.

The Red Dead rumor was a little different since that was more or less based on the ongoing rumors about backwards compatibility.

I think Watch Dogs was already a Games with Gold free game a long time ago because that's probably the only way I would have it.

i think if I click buy on a game I own on xbox.com, it says you already own this, watch dogs is not saying that. Typically if it was GwG, i downloaded but but i suppose there is a possibility it was a GWG and i skipped it.

Yeah I was thinking of Sleeping Dogs. I guess I did buy Watch Dogs. Both were decent games.

New rumors circulating doesn't include any of the previous titles.

http://www.hofmag.com/leaked-xbox-one-xbox-360-free-games-gold-july-2016/162813

Banner Saga 2 (Xbox One)

The Banner Saga franchise revolves around the impact of the story it portrays. Much like it prequel, Banner Saga 2 has a “doom n’ gloom” environment. The only factor making the game lively is the character development.

IGN mentions that this game feels like a Telltale game where the player’s choices matter, a lot. The website suggests to play the first title before playing this new game to understand the whole story. Banner Saga 2 is expected to be released on July 26th for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (Xbox 360)

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 became the seventh installment of theRainbow Six franchise. It featured a first-person story-based gameplay with the player as Logan Keller much like the previous title. The uniques of this game lies on it’s story making the player go through events before and after the first game.

Warriors Orochi 3 (Xbox One)

Warriors Orochi 3 feature the crossover between Dynasty Warriors andSamurai Warriors. The games picks up where the previous of titles of both games ended. This hack and slash game does not only contain the crossover of storylines, but the game play mechanics as well providing players more options of playing the game.

Big issue here is that Banner Saga 2 isn't slated to come out until July 26th, so how can it be a July GWG?

Earlier this morning it was rumoured that the block-busting puzzle game Tumblestone would be joining Rainbow Six Vegas 2, The Banner Saga 2 and Tron: Evolution as the four Games with Gold offers from Xbox this month.

But any question marks surrounding the validity of the rumours has been put to rest.

Developer The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild has revealed through a press release sent out today that the game is coming July 12 for PS4, Wii U, and PC.

Xbox One users however will be able to get their hands on the action-puzzler come July 16, as one of Microsoft's free Games With Gold titles in July.

Banner Saga 2 looks amazing. And Tumblestone is another puzzler--once again, another game that will probably be more addicting than it has any right to be. :)

neither Xbone game is even in the store yet to review.

The 360 games do nothing for me but I never expect them to.

I played a little bit of Banner Saga 2 today & it's not for me. It starts of very slowly with a lot of reading & forced tutorials. The combat (when you actually get to the combat) is like a poor man's version of the "Heroes of Might & Magic" PC games from the 90s. Maybe it gets better as you get further into it, but I was bored after a few battles.

Same here. Disappointing.

I did like a little game called Unmechanical, which is one of their current deals for $3.30.

thanks for updates. I might fire it up one day but just based on the trailer it didn't look like something i would get in to.

Tumblestone is pretty fun & the multiplayer gets hectic. It's a match 3 puzzle game where you have to match them in the correct order to clear all the blocks in the level in one attempt. One mistake & you start all over. The multiplayer adds a few different game types... standard puzzle solving, Battle - continuous matching adds blocks to your opponents screen & Tug of War - smaller chunks of puzzle solving that adds sections of blocks to your opponents screen. You can play against bots (varying levels of difficulty) or real people... although the matchmaking menu is lacking. You can create games to play with friends easily, but you can't search for online players that are playing a certain game type. You can just do a "Quick play" & then hope you like the game type.

The story mode is a little monotonous (just starting world 4) & frustrating... you can always youtube a level if you get stuck for too long. Each world adds in new modifiers to make it more challenging... the tough thing is that most levels can only be finished one way and it can take a while to figure that way out sometimes. The degree of difficulty jumps up pretty quickly in this game.

It also has an impossible achievement... win a multiplayer battle against 3 hardcore bots... the best I've done is 32/50 matches before the computer opponents finish. I barely won 1 match (out of 6-7) against the 2nd hardest bots. Try it & let me know how you do.

played a bit of tumblestone, fun little puzzle game, the type that should be free, or at least really cheap. My daughter is playing the story and getting good, i'm having trouble beating her, probably the first time that has ever happened.
