Noticed Nick Sirianni got Jalen Hurts’ face after a fumble. Seemed to improve his play. I wouldn’t mind seeing some instant accountability on the Cards’ sideline. Of course with no Offensive Coordinator & no real QB Coach, I’m quite sure it will never happen. Kingsbury’s style seems more like Alfred E Neuman for all you old Mad Magazine readers.

Also, what really got Hurts attention is that when he missed a game and Minshew started their offense looked great.

To be fair I barely saw any last night but statistically Hurts was brilliant last night. Something like 22-25 , 2 rushing TD's etc. WFT was short a bunch of starters but if he could play remotely like that throwing the ball they will be thrilled. he's a very good runner, very powerful, and their run game is very similar to the ravens now, but when teams make them throw he has not been able to do it consistently. But apparently last night he did

I’m sorry my post wasn’t intellectual enough to meet the high standards you’ve established. I prefer coaches who show some emotions. To me Kingsbury looks too cool & detached. What are the dynamics to which you refer? I hardly ever see them even converse during the game. I seldom see that level of isolation with other coaches. As to whether or not Murray would respond, since the beginning of the Green Bay game Murray has not played well. So I think we can surmise that what they are doing now isn’t generating a positive response. Sometimes it seems to help just to shake things up. Something tells me you’ve have no idea whether or not he’d respond. We’re both guessing. I’m just suggesting changing tactics.

My understanding (I don't watch any Philly games) is that Hurts can be successful in an extremely college offense (like mostly RPOs). You can't run a complete offense with him. In this way, he's kind of a poor-man's Tua.

It's a poor coach that decides that screaming at a player is going to make a difference, especially professional athletes. Maybe Coach should try kicking Kyler Murray like Urban Meyer did. Just changing tactics.

In terms of how Kyler would respond I think I tend to agree with you but we’ve never seen it. Something tells him his father likely didn’t coddle him, so maybe he responds to it better than you think.

As for the dynamic, pretty sure McVay had gotten in goff’s face and he was the golden boy #1 pick too, so yeah there’s precedent. And I don’t think it’s rare.

Doesn’t mean he didn’t hear it and message wasn’t delivered and received. I know many people who won’t respond outwardly but such criticism drives them internally.

Spot on brother. The Eagles don't even know if Hurts is the franchise QB or not so that gives their coaches free reign to get in his ass. Kyler being a franchise QB & #1 pick changes that with us, plus that's just not the style of KK. KK will be shown the door long before Kyler & everyone should know that. Different players respond differently to motivational tactics. Some you can really push & others you have to coddle. Kyler doesn't strike me as one that would respond well to "in your face" stuff but who knows? Just one man's opinion.

The hard ass approach was a complete bomb for Urban Meyers. I think for an old coach like Arians it still works because everyone knows exactly who he is.

We’ll then that is a problem. I don’t care if you’re pick #1 or Mr Irrelevant, you should be able to be coached the same. If a coach would be “gone” the minute he challenged a high profile player, then that organization need to re-evaluate its priorities.

I agree with you but in this case I believe the relationship is defined and won’t change. In my opinion Murray would benefit more from a hard nosed coach in the long run.
