Did you know we didn't have a Defensive Coordinator back then?

Cool picture! I still have my media guide somewhere... in the garage I think. I'm nearly certain mine isn't in that good of shape though.

Cool picture! I loved the white on white uniforms of the 70's and 80's.

The uniforms and the helmets were a big reason I became a Cards fan as a kid in 75. That and I was born in St Louis although we moved to California when I was 18 months old.

Shane you inspired me to post a pic of a poster I have had for many years, autographed by Jim Hart in 1986; also autographed by Bill O'Brien a retired NFL referee.

Sorry for the glass reflection.

I have that one as well. My favorite poster I have is rare. It has two players one turned left the other right. One wearing white jersey and red pants the other just the opposite. The Heading is PHOENIX CARDINALS on top.
Under the players centered is Valley National Bank ( No longer around). Under that is Phoenix- Host to Super Bowl XXVII- 1993. ( not held due to vote down of Martin Luther King Holiday in Arizona. It's has cactus up front and mountains in the background.

I'll try to upload a picture when the wife comes home.

Okay, I must admit that I am pretty paranoid. But, am I the only one that is worried that Kurt Warner will the next Neil Lomax? They both had hip injuries and Neil was never the same. I see Kurt limping around and all I can think about is Lomax.

Weren't the Cardinals in first place back in their 1st year here in AZ before Neil broke his hip?

Kurt may well falter due to hip issues but the fact he took us to the Super Bowl alleviates any comparisons in my book; the big difference being with Neil we looked to be going into the playoffs and performing well while Kurt got us there and eventually to the big game.

Come from behind wins were exciting, I don't however in any way miss being the best 4-12 team in football.

Don't get me wrong I had no problem with Jake---watching that playoff win in Dallas live will always be one of my fondest memories. But I was always of the opinion that Jake Plummer was the main reason Jake Plummer had to come from behind so many times in the first place.

Memories are always the best; you don't have to dedicate any space on the chip for bad ones if you don't want to.
