I must say I am impressed. I have been using a 17 inch non flat screen CRT monitor for years.. Hooked this 19 inch widescreen LCD and BAM what a freaking difference. WOW!

I almost bought that exact monitor on Amazon a couple months ago for $179. I have a 17 LCD monitor. Once you got LCD for computer monitors, you will never go back.

I tell you what its like nite and day. I also got it for 179.00 on sale at Best Buy. Picked up the 3 year free replacement warranty too. only 24.95 extra.

Nice. I mean it's not a candle or anything, but nice nonetheless.

I still have a monitor the size of a college dorm fridge - big and bulky. I need to go to a flat-screen. Will probably do this once Vista starts shipping and buy a whole new system altogether.

I cant believe how much more room I have on my desk. This has a 5 MS delay which is great too. Well worth the money. I saw some at BEst Buy that didnt have any better features for upwards of 300.00 bones.

Yep. The 5ms vs. the 7ms or 9ms that you get with most tube monitors makes a big difference, especially when gaming.

Never use a cleaning agent such as Windex on your LCD. Those cleaners often contain ammonia, which can, over time, damage your display's panel. A slightly damp, lint-free cloth, like the ones included with eyeglasses, or a microfiber cloth should do the trick.

Acer makes good stuff. I own the non-widescreen of the AL1916 and absolutely love it.
