Justin Timberlake dishonest about Super Bowl commercial

Apparently he's been telling people he did all his own stunts in that commercial where people suck on the straw and he goes flying?

Well I'm listening to the radio this morning and a woman calls in and says her brother (Mark Anderson I think she said) is a stuntman and HE did the stunts on that commercial. She said she hasn't spoken to her brother about it yet but she's pretty sure he'll be pissed when he finds out what Justin is saying and "if I know my brother like I think I do, he won't like it that Justin is lying."

She said that some stuntman contracts actually require the stuntman to sign a waiver promising he won't disclose he did the stunts precisely so an actor can claim he did his own stunts.

What they said on radio is he's telling talkshows he did them all. First I heard of it was this morning.

With these stunts, let's hope Justin Timberlake doesn't suffer any more Super Bowl malfunctions.

The SexyBack singer, who controversially tore off part of Janet Jackson's corset during a half-time duet three years ago, has decided to fling himself back into Super Bowl Sunday action.


Timberlake, 26, had to apologise to 140m people for the 2004 "wardrobe malfunction" in which he exposed Miss Jackson's breast to millions of people around the world.

Now he is filming a TV commercial, for Pepsi, to be shown during next year's big game. The star, believed to be worth £28m, fully insured himself after agreeing to perform all the stunts.


He was rigged to wires, lifted into the air and spun around, to simulate being hit by a car. Timberlake was then dragged along the road on a detached car door, during which he lost his shoe and had to hobble off set.

The advert will be broadcast during next year's game on 3 February.

Good find Louis. From what this woman said on radio she was pretty certain her brother is the type to go public if he isn't getting any credit for stunts. Like I said though she did say some contracts stipulate the stuntman has to agree to get no credit so I wonder if that's the case here and that's why Justin is doing this.

She was really convincing though she rattled off a list of movies he's been in from all 3 Pirates of the Caribbean(was Orlando Blooms' stunt double) to the first Spiderman movie.

FYI I looked it up the name is Mark Wagner not Anderson and that's the name the woman said I just remembered it incorrectly when I wrote Anderson.
