Any doubts about Justin Verlander's Hall of Fame credentials should have disappeared on Saturday night. With his fourth inning strikeout Los Angeles Angels outfielder Kole Calhoun, Verlander became the 18th pitcher in major league history to record 3,000 career strikeouts. His milestone punchout came with a unique twist, however, as the curveball skipped away from catcher Robinson Chirinos.
